The rape lawsuit against Juventus star Cristiano Rinaldo has been dropped, according to a report from Bloomberg on Wednesday. A notice voluntary dismissal was filled last month in Neveda state court in Las Vegas. In September 2018, Kathryn Mayorga, now 34, claimed the Juventus player had attacked her in the penthouse of a Las Vegas hotel in 2009 when she was 25 and was paid $375,000 in hush money. She said she was forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement by Ronaldo's lawyers at the time, but reopened the case and filed charges in Las Vegas, demanding $200,000 in damages. Katheryn had now ended her lawsuit, meaning the Juventus attacker can now draw a line under this chapter. According to Bloomberg, a notice of voluntary dismissal was reportedly filed in May in a Nevada State Court in Las Vegas, but the reasons for it are not clear at the time as the filing does not say whether a settlement was reached with the Portuguese superstar regarding the rape case.

Former Arsenal forward, Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a car crash. His former club, Sevilla Fc confirmed this on their twitter handle. The 35 year old Spaniard, who has won the Premier League and FA Cup during his time with Arsenal, died in a traffic collision. Reyes joined Arsenal from Sevilla in January 2004 for a fee of £10.5m where he scored 23 goals, after making 110 appearance. Reyes won the Europa league five times during his playing career.

Dubai-based tycoon Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has revealed his plans to complete a takeover at Newcastle after agreeing terms with Mike Ashley The Abu Dhabi Billionaire and Cousin of Manchester City owner, Sheik Mansour and a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, insists he has "agreed terms" and is now attempting to "complete the transaction at the earliest opportunity". A statement released by the Bin Zayed Group, of which Sheikh Khaled is chairman, said " We can confirm that representatives of His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed All Nahyan are in discussions with Mike Ashley and his team, about the proposed acquisition of Newcastle United Football Club. " We view it as an honour to have the opportunity to build on the strong support history and tradition of the club. Lobi Stars coach Solomon Ogbeide has been reported dead after he slumped this morning.  The news of the death of the Nigeria Professional League Champions came after suspicion of his absence in the technical bench in their last home game against Wikki Tourist in Makurdi, Benue State. According to report, Ogbeide  on Monday had complained that he wasn't feeling to well before his death. Ogbaide won the 2017/2018 NFL as the Coach of Lobi Stars, hence represented Nigeria in the CAF Champions league 2018/2019 season. Lobi Star are second on the Group A  table with 31 points in 20 matches

Juventus have announced that Massimilliano Allegri will no longer be the manager next season. Allegri will manage the two remaining Serie A matches as his last at Juventus. Details has not be released about his possible replacement by the club. The Italian joined Juventus in 2014 and has since won the Serie A title in all five seasons. On top of that, he has helped the club to UEFA Champions League finals on two occasions, has four Coppa Italia titles ad two Supercoppa Italiana as well..

The forward has told the Spanish club he will be leaving this summer. The France star signed a contract extension of 5 years last summer but said he is leaving the club in a video posted to their twitter account.
